More bits and pieces of life here: This is a pretty common image of Anne. Reading. If you give the child a book you lose her completely! I guess there are worse problems in life.

Halloween with the Conklin Family. From left to right: Katie (monkey), James (pirate), Anne (Laura Ingalls-Thanks Great Aunt Helene!), Megan (Kitty), Megan (cow), Phil and Ryan (marines). What a great time with friends! We had dinner first and then sent the daddies out with the kiddos. Mandy and I had a wonderful, quiet time at home passing out candy and visiting.

Can you guess who figured out how to unroll the toilette paper?

One of Megan's classic faces. She is so tiny that her grin takes up her whole face. And she can't smile without squinting her eyes closed! Love her!!!

I'm not sure, but I think they could have gotten away with a smaller trailer to haul this bike. (or they could have just tossed it in the back of the pick-up pulling the trailer) But then I wouldn't have gotten a good laugh and this great picture!

OK, so we have entered the phase of losing teeth with Anne. These three pictures took 2 weeks to happen. First we had a really loose tooth. Finally we were all tired of it and ready for it to fall out. So Grandma and Grandpa came over and Grandma convinced Anne to let her tie floss around it and try to pull it out. All went well until the floss was secured and Anne got scared. Anne started to cry, Katie came in the bathroom and she started to cry. Megan came into investigate, and well, everyone else is crying so she did too. Grandma came out and said, "I'm not doing this!"

Some how they got the floss untied with out the tooth falling out. Anne went to brush her teeth and Daddy went to help. Wouldn't you know it, Daddy brushed her tooth out!

The next day the one next to it started to get loose, and the story was pretty much the same. This time Anne decided to be brave and she walks into the kitchen with floss tied around her tooth. "I'm going to pull my tooth this time!" "OK" says mom. Ten minutes later I am using a seem ripper to get the floss of the tooth that was not quite ready to come out. A few days later Anne is brushing her teeth and again the tooth is brushed out. So this is what Anne looks like now!

Any guesses what Anne wants for Christmas?
And Mom could do with out any teeth falling out for awhile.
