So I found some more pictures of us playing in the snow. I just love snow!
By Sunday afternoon the snow had turned to ice and our winter wonderland turned to an ice skating rink. Check out youtube and you can see news footage of people actually ice skating down the street!
This is snowman of day two--she got left out in the yard and turned to ice by Sunday afternoon.
Phil and I were able to take a quick walk around the neighborhood by ourselves and this is what it looked like on Saturday afternoon.
Phil took Megan and Ryan out to practice with their snowshoes. There hasn't been enough snow on Mt. Hood to go up as a family this year, so this was their first time out. They did great! Hopefully soon we can go as a family up the mountain and do some real snowshoeing.
Frozen trees in the yard.
The kids were worried about the birds. Our neighbor has quite a few feeders on his porch, so I told the kids that the birdies would find plenty of food there if they had trouble finding food under the snow.
