Yes, life here in the country is different than suburbia and we find holes in our family that we did not know we had, which needed to be filled. So we adopted something else. This one we don't have to feed (as much) and it doesn't need nearly as much love and care as the kittens (who are tussling around my feet as I type). When we moved, we moved to 2 acres of mostly pasture land. At the old house we had .1 acres and a push mower. Do you know how long it takes to mow 2 acres with a push mower?!?!?!? A LONGGGGGGGGG time. So we wondered where on earth we would come up with the money for a riding lawn mower. God is so good. Before we could even start to think on the problem, some dear friends said "Hey, we just upgraded our riding lawn mower, do you want the our other one?" Let me think "YES!" So that is how we came to adopt a riding lawn mower. It has some issues that we need to work with it on, like it starts up when no one is on it?!?! But it works great other than that. Thanks friends, you were an answer to prayer.
