Tulip Fields

This is going to be a long one folks so hang on to your hats!  (It's more pictures than words)

The kids and I were invited to go to see the Tulip Fields outside of Woodburn, OR.  We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day.  The temps were in the 80's (we put on sunscreen for the first time since last August) the sky was bright blue and the tulips were in top form!  There were also rides and ice cream, so we couldn't go wrong.
My sweet children.  Ryan wanted more than anything to get down and pick those flowers and smash them and all the things little boys do.

Perfect day!

Rows and rows of color

This shot was taken at the end of the day--it's the best we could get.  Katie really is smiling, she just couldn't see because of the sun.  (we are not used to that big glowing thing in the sky)

My goal: someday get a good candid of the kids with them ALL smiling.  Someday. . .

Aren't these two sweet.  Sisters, part of the group we went with.

And here are some more sweet sisters.  I love the look on Megan's face.

There was plenty of room to run and play at the tulip fields.  Megan runs while everyone else eats lunch!

Look momma!  Look!  Don't take my picture, LOOK!

Katie likes being out in the sun, as long as she has her hat on!

This is Katie and her friend Cole.  Cuties.

Meggie!

This kid makes me laugh!  Just look at that little grin! And the mischief in the eyes. . .

I love this picture of Kaellie.  It just captures her spirit.

And what display garden would not be complete without rubber duckie races?

This was the favorite ride. . .

Kaellie was really good at it.

The kids got to bounce for 5 minutes. . .

Which made them VERY tired for the ride home.

Katie is soaring in the trees

Megs even tried it.  She was too light to bounce, so we had to keep pulling on her straps so that she would bounce up and down!

SHE LOVED IT!!!

My boy: dirt, straw and scraped elbows!

Not sure what he is doing here, but still so cute!
Thanks for the invite, Little Feet Preschoolers!  We had a blast and slept well that night!
