Bits from this summer. . .

Boston and Plymouth Massachusetts

The USS Constitution or "Old Ironsides"

This was a little game to teach the parts and steps of building a ship--not as easy as it first looked

Ryan enjoyed "swabbing the deck".  Maybe I need to get the boy a mop!

Learning how to rig a sail

He could have stayed here all day long.  He loved this cannon!

Family at Bunker Hill monument

Aahh, the Boston Children's museum. . . Had this lovely 3-D climbing maze for the kids--3 stories high all enclosed.  It was the first thing the kids saw when they walked in and they could have spent all night on it and been completely happy!

I need one of these for the back yard.

Kid power section--Katie showing off her muscles!

Ooooohhhh, BUBBLES!

This is the kids as we are leaving the museum after 3 full hours of playing there.  Any guesses as to what time it is?  9 pm!  I think that they had fun.

Anne and Ryan at Plymouth Harbor.

Megan, sweet girl!

It took 5 tries to get a family picture with Ryan looking toward the camera!

This sign said "21 century technology out of order"

And here it is --- Plymouth Rock.

Hey Bob, how's this for a wood pile!
