This is the way to get a tree! |
Family tradition is to go snowshoeing the day after Thanksgiving. This year the weather did not cooperate. As in not enough snow. So we changed plans and went out to get our Christmas tree.
We went to a new farm this year. Boy, did we get spoiled. You cut it and they haul it to the bailer, where they tie the tree with twine and put it on your car for you while you go warm up in the barn in front of a crackling fire with hot chocolate.
I did not take pictures of when we got it home. Phil measured it, put it in the stand and carried it in all tied up and then cut the string and poof! A lovely tree appeared in our living room.

Can I cut the tree down this year? |
|
Yes, they will transport the tree, but YOU have to cut it down! |

These three are watching the tractor pull in with a new load of trees to be bailed. |
