It has been raining a lot, so we have been inside more. That means more time to be creative.
(being inside too much tends to bring out the crazy!)
One day when it wasn't raining, Phil and Ryan went up to fix the leak in the roof.
(Beautiful view of Mt. Hood from the roof)
We got a little bit of snow one morning. The cats are not sure about it, but they like it better than the rain!
You don't see this very often. . . Raspberries in November!
This was Oreo's first snow!
This was the only picture I took at Thanksgiving. I was sick that day and we had the most interesting Thanksgiving. The turkey finished cooking 2 hours early and the appetizer needed to cook for an hour before serving (I didn't notice that when I read the recipe). The families that were coming, came early to help straighten things out and we all enjoyed a wonderful meal.
We went looking for a Christmas tree. . .
This one looks a little sparse!
This is what usually happens when I try to get a picture of the kids altogether. Three cooperate and one does not. Here are the three that cooperated.
And one slightly uncooperative child.
But then they came together as a team to help carry the tree out.
Daddy setting up the tree.
Anne's lego team, "The Bots", competed in the regional tournament.
Last year the team competed for the first time ever and came in 16th. This year they came in 3rd!!! They missed going to the state tournament by one spot. But what an amazing jump from last year. Way to go!
The three girls on the team!
The third place team. Way to GO!!
Here is the calm before the storm. . .He normally is going a million miles an hour discovering all kinds of things, and usually leaving a wake of some sort of destruction resulting from all the discovery. But once in a while, he does this. How cute is he?
